We would like to let everyone know how proud we are of those who competed this past weekend (11/14/09) at the North American Grappling Association Championships in Newark, NJ. We had 3 competitors and they all represented the Grapplers Guide extremely well.

Kristel “Mongoose” Roxas had one of her best showings yet. She placed 1st in the white belt division winning her first match with a shutout and her finals match by an armbar. Kristel gets better and better every time she steps on the mat and every time she tests herself in competition.
John Niedrich competed in his first ever BJJ competition and had an awesome showing with only 3 months experience. He won 3 matches competing in both the Intermediate No-Gi division and the White Belt division. As he trains more and more he’s definitely going to be a beast on the mat and give everyone who steps in his way trouble.
Jesse Dynak also competed in his first ever BJJ tournament with only 3 months experience. He competed in the White Belt division and won 2 matches. Jesse is another student that is doing great in training and is improving at a rapid pace.
We are so proud of all of you! Keep up the great work and thank you for representing the Grapplers Guide with respect and hard work!
