Central Jersey Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Raised Almost $1,500 Towards the Fight Against Cancer
On Sunday August 15th 2010 we experienced a very special day. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioners from all over the tri-state area came together for a common goal in mind, and not the goal you would normally think. This was a day where the thought wasn’t just about themselves and about their Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training. It was about giving another human being the change to continue one of the hardest fights of his life. BJJ Black Belts Rick Macauly, Steve Bowers, Luis Pantoja, and Jason Scully organized a charity seminar to help fellow BJJ Black Belt Andre Margutti continue to conquer his new challenge, cancer.

With a great turn out, great attitudes, and great outlook on life, the special martial arts seminar located in Red Bank, New Jersey was a success with almost $1,500 raised towards the Andre Margutti Cancer Fund.
Life is precious, take advantage of what if can give to you and take advantage of fighting to give life to others.

Jason is a great combination of instructor, student, and friend. His patience, devotion, creative classes and detail-oriented instruction will train you to be the best you can be. His focus on improving his own game and learning other aspects of the art translate into developing modern instruction that captures the techniques and philosophy the best practitioners today are using to bring them to the top of the their game. Best of all, he genuinely cares about all his students equally, and wants nothing more than to have them all excel, perform well, and generate a comfortable yet exciting atmosphere in which to train. No matter where he teaches, you can count on great instruction and environment.
